Biography

I have been calling and teaching since September 1984. During that time, I have called at hundreds of club nights, festivals and events, and taught countless square, line, and two-step classes. I couldn't list every one of those here, but these are some of the highlights.

IAGSDC Conventions

I have been honored to called at many IAGSDC Conventions both in the US and Canada. In addition to calling, each year I moderate a session during the convention for those that might be interested in the art of calling. I have been a featured coach at several IAGSDC calling schools, as well as a technical assistant for many more.

I have been a staff caller at over 20 conventions and try to bring something new to the experience every time. I enjoy the cameraderie and working with all the other professional callers at conventions.

I have been the caller coordinator or scheduler for both the 1992 Albuquerque "Diamonds in the Desert" convention and the 2017 Palm Springs "Swing and Mix" convention.

Flyins/Regional Festivals

I have been a caller at over 100 flyins and regional dance festivals, many of them second and third time bookings.
